Localised Cryotherapy

Localised Cryotherapy focuses on specific areas of your body that are causing you pain. It applies extreme cold temperatures (-32° to -42°) to affected areas which slows inflammation immediately reducing swelling and pain.

It can be useful in helping a variety of issues including:

  • Arthritic and joint pains

  • Muscle tears and sprains

  • Ligament injuries

  • Sports injuries

and has been found to aid in improving circulation, decreasing recovery time and fatigue and increasing joint mobility.

Every person, and every injury is unique. We generally recommend a course of Localised Cryotherapy alongside Sports Therapy treatment to accelerate your recovery (see our ‘Elite Sports Therapy‘ package), or we can offer Localised Cryotherapy as a stand alone treatment modality.
